Title: Re: Dobbs, UGA and UF Post by: murfvol on October 26, 2014, 04:24:28 EDT Hindsight is all fans can do because we're not privy to practice. The highly paid guys who are run practice should have a better idea how to manage.

Bottom line is thT none of us has a freaking clue how it MIGHT have been different Title: Re: Dobbs, UGA and UF Post by: murfvol on October 26, 2014, 04:33:26 EDT True, but it certainly makes one wonder. I think it's a valid question, particularly because those would completely change the tenor of current "state of the program" discussions.

Title: Re: Dobbs, UGA and UF Post by: BanditVol on October 27, 2014, 07:09:17 EDT As I state below, no one, including our coaches, really had a clue what Dobbs would do this year until he actually played. Well we found out, and it's good news. Our QB problems are not solved, but Dobbs play is definitely a big positive.
Title: Re: Dobbs, UGA and UF Post by: murfvol on October 27, 2014, 12:22:09 EDT Say you're on a trip in a friend's car, and stop for a late night snack at a remote convenience store, and find the battery is dead. Another car is there, but has no cables. Your friend says he doesn't have any either. You sit in the cold car, and eventually another automobile shows up, but also without jumper cables.
After they drive away, you check the trunk and notice he has cables. You're happy to find them, but a tad perturbed you wasted 2 hours. The battery wasn't dead for 2 hours. It may have sputtered a few series against uga (warning light came on), then warning light comes on again at end of florida game. Didn't finally die till bammer game. In which case you only waited about 15 minutes. Friend had a spare battery he wanted to try first, but it was also dead. So now you are pissed he didn't go to jumper cables first, but there were no cars there anyway (down 27-0). :naughty: |
