I haven't even studied our roster or our numbers, so this is just spitballing on my part:

QB: The goal should be to get one in every class.  We could lose Bray after next season.  Are Worley and Peterman good enough to fill his shoes?  I'd like to get one more good one to at least push those guys in practice.

RB: Well, we signed 3 today.  Throw in Lane, and we're good numbers-wise.  But are any of these guys the type of back we need to win in the SEC?  Time will tell, but I'd still like to land at least 1 marquee back.  We also need a FB.

WR: Hard to imagine that anyone else had a better haul than we did today.  Patterson, Croom, Howard, Bowles.  Wow.  If Hunter is back at full strength, and Da'rick is back period, there's not a secondary in America that will be able to cover them all.  Zach Rodgers is our only senior here, but we could lose Hunter, Da'rick, maybe even Patterson after this year.  If that happens, we're going to need another one or two.

TE: We signed two good ones last year, and one more today.  But the way Chaney's offense utilizes the TE, we should be going after at least one a year.

OL:  Dallas Thomas is our only senior here, but he has a big junior class coming up behind him.  I'd like to land at least 3-4.

DL:  We cleaned up here today, and for the first time in years, we finally look to have some talent AND some numbers up front.  Unfortunately, three of our best signees here in the last two years have been jucos, which means we're going to have to restock pretty quickly.  And if we go to a 3-4, it's not hard to imagine a couple of our smaller DEs like Jaquez and Bohannon moving to LB.  Assuming we're going to stick with the 3-4 for the next few years, we need about 4 more guys that are 270 or better.

LB: Priority 1, 1A, and 1B.  We're already short numbers-wise to run a 3-4, and today's complete whiff only amplifies the problem.  I'd like to get 5 good ones.  Maybe even 6.

DB: We look pretty good here numbers-wise, if not talent-wise.  We really, really, REALLY need to upgrade our speed in the secondary.  Frankly, our secondary isn't presently good enough to win at a high level in the SEC, and I wouldn't mind recruiting over some of these guys if we can get 3-4 good ones.

Punter:  If Darr has another bad year, we're going to have to get another one.  Which sucks.  Since we signed our second kicker in 3 years today, another punter would mean we have 4 specialists on scholarship.  Not good for a team still trying to fill out the rest of its roster.

Did I overlook anything?

Sounds good to me!  I don't know if we whiffed at LB.  You forget about Latroy Lewis, Justin King, Trent Taylor.  BUT, we didn't get what we wanted.  I'll give you that.

What if Greg King stays healthy?  Christian Harris begins to come of age as well as Sapp, Crump, and there some others. Granted may not have any Hacksaw Reynolds in the works.  :P

Lose him to what? The NFL? I think that might be a bit of a stretch at this point. I certainly think he's got NFL potential, but I don't think he's anywhere near NFL-ready just yet. He barely has had a full of season of games under his belt, when you consider he started late as a freshman, and missed several games due to injuries last year. The only way he goes if he has a tremendous, almost Heisman-caliber, type of season, which would guarantee him a high first round pick. I don't think he goes if he's projected as mid-to-lower level pick. Unless there are other factors at work, such as the rumors of a big rift between him and the coaches, make him decide to go, which IMO would be a huge mistake, I like the chances of him sticking around for his senior year.

Prior to his injury last year, there were a couple sites that projected him as the #1 QB in the 2013 draft.  If he comes back and returns to his pre-injury form this season, he's going to have a big decision to make.

What do they say now? I would think that at this moment Barkley would be the number one guy. Tyler Wilson of Arky I would imagine would be ahead of him too, as he had a big season numbers wise.

I haven't looked lately, but that's really beside the point.  I'm sure those projections weren't counting on Barkley coming back this year.  The point is, the NFL really likes Bray when he's at full speed.  His physical attributes are second to none, and he was looking very polished mentally before the injury.  So yes, I think if he comes back and has the kind of year he was on track for last year before he got hurt, he'll be projected very highly again.

FTR, I hope you're right.  If everyone comes back in 2013, we could be very, very good.  But there's little doubt in my mind that Bray and 2-3 of our WRs are going to have to make a big decision after next season.

Tyler and Da'Rick have got to re-build thier image in the eyes of NFL or coming out early is risky at best. Justin just got prove he is healed. The NFL teams do thier homework, Tyler was #1 or #2 last year prior to the season on a couple 2013 mock players rankings now out of the top 20. The talk is CP is one and done guy, while not impossible it takes Cam Newton type year. Tyler is not NFL ready, but you never know what a kid is thinking. As the season plays out we will see, but wouldn't shock me to see 2 of 3 wr head to the NFL.
