I wasn't at that game, but my daughter and I were watching on TV...in the middle of the living room jumping around screaming and hugging like we were nuts.  I think Dean walked in the door from work about that time....he thought we had lost it!  HA!  Was a great game!!!

You should be ok in Atlanta.  Granny lives in North Georgia.  Totally different area and different cable providers.  Besides, her cable company doesn't even offer ESPN3, according to what she said.

Yes you will probably get it in Atlanta...my cable company is small and local (Ellijay Telephone Company) and it's servce territory happens to cross over into some areas of SE Tennessee -- wonderful customer service, but lacking sometimes in this area for sure.   Irritating....but to change my cable tv to satellite and keep the cable internet (can't get fast enough dsl up here for work) is way too expensive....so for now I'm kind of stuck where I am.

They say it's out of their control.....they don't dictate where it's blacked out.  Has something to do with who has the rights or some crap like that.

I'm guessing there is an issue with the machine's wireless network config. Try deleting the adapter completely and then re-adding it. If that doesn't work... you may have to rebuild the machine.

It's a neighbor's machine.  If I can't get it to work by re-adding the adapter, then I'll tell him to take it somewhere!  HA!  I'm not into rebuilding others machines!  Thanks!

Just found where our cable provider is showing it on the ESPN PPV channel -- in the past, it has normally been blacked out here for some strange reason, but I'll try once again to get it!  Hopefully this time I can! 

any thoughts on what could cause this proble...

PC connected wirelessly through a linksys router -- every time the pc is rebooted, must disable/enable the wireless adapter for it to connect to the network.  PC is set up to connect automatically, but windows does not even see the network until the adapter is reset like this.

And 60 years old makes you expert enough to say what Pat should do?  I'm 57 -- and I've watched family deteriorate from this dreadful disease as well -- but I would never try to tell Pat or anyone else what they should do in this situation.   Neither you, I or the IDIOT so-called reporter have any right to determine what Pat should do and when she should do it.  Only Pat and her doctors know where she is in the disease...she may make it 1 more year or less...she may make it 3 or 4 more years.  But it isn't for us to decide.

Nobody here is wearing orange colored glasses....we are all devastated about Pat's diagnosis because we know the end of her time as the Lady Vols coach is coming to an end much sooner than we thought.  But I say Pat should do what Pat wants to do as long as she is able to do so.

Nothing pisses me off more than people that have no knowledge of the specific situation telling others how to live their remaining productive years!   Maybe you need to put on some orange colored glasses and support Pat in living her life the way she chooses for as long as she is able.
