What sucks is Ole Miss is playing in Omaha and they were one of the teams that the Vols embarrassed. It was just a crappy end to a great season. They should come out with a chip on their shoulders next season.

They made it and lost their first game and went home....Now they are the only team that hasn't lost a game in the NCAA's....Regional...Super Regional and CWS thus far.

Propaganda in sports. UT beat UT. I have yet to see a coach or AD in the UT program with the glaring exception of the general (and Pat) who has wired a UT athlete's head to handle success.

At least Schilling's take makes a little sense, though. It does give your opponents extra motivation to beat you and makes the road in front of you even tougher. That's a lot more level-headed than all the baseball purists who are proclaiming that the "baseball gods" took down Tennessee because the game always evens things out in the end. They truly believe that nonsense. It's laughable. |
