I agree with Schilling. It makes the other guys want to beat you even more. What sucks is Ole Miss is playing in Omaha and they were one of the teams that the Vols embarrassed. It was just a crappy end to a great season. They should come out with a chip on their shoulders next season.

Ole Miss got hot at the right time....At one point some were saying they might not make it to Hoover. They made it and lost their first game and went home....Now they are the only team that hasn't lost a game in the NCAA's....Regional...Super Regional and CWS thus far.

I was hoping to see every SEC team crash and burn, but that’s probably a pipe dream. So as long as Arkansas doesn’t win it, I’ll be satisfied.

That was my hope. I wanted to see the Vols beat the hell out of them in Omaha. People think Vitello is a douche. Van Horn is worse.

We are guaranteed at least 1 SEC school in the finals, possible both, same as last year

What a load! Propaganda in sports. UT beat UT. I have yet to see a coach or AD in the UT program with the glaring exception of the general (and Pat) who has wired a UT athlete's head to handle success.

If you count future members, the "SEC" has 6/8  :wow:

I am definitely a respect-your-opponent/respect-the-game type of person, but the more tweets I read and the more pompous takes like Schillings' that I read, the less I care how brash and arrogant this Tennessee team comes across.

At least Schilling's take makes a little sense, though. It does give your opponents extra motivation to beat you and makes the road in front of you even tougher. That's a lot more level-headed than all the baseball purists who are proclaiming that the "baseball gods" took down Tennessee because the game always evens things out in the end. They truly believe that nonsense. It's laughable.
