The Lady VOLS clamped down the defense in the 2nd half and as for boards:

I used those words about 5 min into the 2nd half
If there is a former player who can come close to matching Pat's intensity it's Kellie

I'm pulling for them. Pat-like results aren't expected, but a return to respect would be nice.

When Kelly was speaking after the game it was almost like you could hear Pat whispering in her ear.  She said exactly the same kind of things that Pat was saying nearly 25 years ago when they were in the middle of the historic three year run as National Champions.  Defense, Rebounding, and More Defense win Tournament games.  We will see how good they are on Defense again this evening.

Not that great unfortunately.  Though UMich did hit the lottery on 3s a few times, but all that did was make the final margin worse.
