He's getting while the getting is good. I think there?s one overlooked factor here. Bammer?s small step back to the pack coincided with UGA?s step UP to elite status. And they both occurred right after Kirby lured away Saban's strength coach and team ?pharmacist? Scott Cochran. I have a friend who won't believe that bammer paid players but thinks is likely they dosed somehow.
This has not been a trend lately, but in the early years of the saban regime bammer players suddenly seemed to get weaker when they went to the NFL. Trent Richardson is a good example, and maybe Mark Ingram. That hasn't been the trend lately though... Title: Re: Report that Saben retiring! Recruiting is a big part of good coaching. That's why it's hard to beat Saban and Smart playing against them with mostly 3* and 4* players. You make yourself a great coach. |
