Title: Have y'all seen some of the conceptual alternate football helmets?
Post by: CornFromAJar on February 25, 2015, 08:30:48 EST
Some of them are... well, you'll see. And yes, there is one for Tennessee.

Find them here: http://imgur.com/a/Xhk3k#0 (http://imgur.com/a/Xhk3k#0)

Opinions?

see our team wearing....we are the Tennessee Volunteers! The Volunteers denotes a proud history of the citizens of the state volunteering to fight in defense of our nation....we are NOT the Tennessee smokeys!     :patriot:

Some of those are nothing short of awesome! However, if I may channel my inner Sheldon Cooper, in what universe does the Tennessee Volunteer football helmet not have the Power T on it?  :nono:

I really like a lot of them. Not Tennessee's, though.

UT's is terrible. Those Smokey logos should never ever be used for any reason.

My thoughts as well.  It should be like the old Patriots logo, only more of a Davy Crockett looking dude!

Or maybe they should make the helmet look like a coonskin cap complete with a real tail attached?  Not.

Thank goodness those aren't by Nike. I wouldn't sign a licensing deal with a company that didn't realize the importance of  :powert: .

Amen to that! And while I'm not a bammer fan, if one was going to put a pattern on their helmet, shouldn't it be houndstooth?

I will admit, though, that the Army helmet is pretty cool, IMO.

As unfortunate as it is we may need to come to grips with the fact that the team May wear an alternate logo on the helmets. Especially with the Nike switch. I hope it doesn't unless it's just a variation of the Power T.

GO VOLS!!!   :powert:

Whoever did the Ole Miss helmet must not realize that Colonel Reb has been replaced as the official mascot. Replaced in 2010. These are either old helmets or done by people completely out of the loop.
