I have to say, our first three games are interesting.   We start with a cream puff, then take on the Petrino-led WKU.  WKU did score some points last year, so this will be an interesting step up from Austin Peay to test what I think is the most critical thing for our team this year....whether the D will actually be decent or not.  With Petrino at the helm, we can't afford to just show up.

Then comes week three...into the fire!  Playing arguably the best offense in the country on the road.  I have heard a lot of talk about "they have a new head coach".  Yeah, but said coach is the former OC.  They have a legit Heisman candidate returning at QB, so this will TRULY be a test!  Hey, if we can hold them to less points than Troy scored on us at home last year, I will call it an improvment in D!

But seriously, I don't expect us to beat Oregon, but I hope our D at least shows some fight in that game.

I would love for Pitino to be the head football coach at WKU...that wouldn't scare me a bit.  But, since Petrino is the head football coach, they may actually have a decent team.

Interesting matchup, a football team vs. a basketball team, hmmm.
