Amazon stock gained over 150 points.
Kevin Spacey was still a presumably straight Hollywood A-lister.
The iPhone 7 was still the hottest phone on the market.
Harvey Weinstein was still a respected Hollywood visionary.
OJ Simpson was still in jail.
Tom Petty played live in concert.
Jim McElwain was viewed by many as the 2nd best coach in the SEC.
The Boston Celtics, whose season wouldn't even begin for nearly another month, have won seven games.
The Cleveland Browns were still winless (some things never change).

Uhh....dude...it hasn't been that long.  I mean....

And for the record, Spacey's sexual preferences have been known since the 90s.

This is way premature, to say the least.

The post was in part hyperbole.  For the record, it was September 23.  Six weeks ago as of today.  Is that a long time, in the grand scheme of things?  No.  Is it way, way, WAY too long for UT to go in-season without a win?  You betcha.  And yes, the world has changed quite a bit in that time.  It seems like Weinstein has been in the news for over a year, but that happened since we won.  Rick Pitino was still the coach at Louisville, and his also-canned boss was considered by many to be the best AD in the country.  The trees were still green and it was about 20 degrees warmer outside.  Should I go on?

Point is, it's been awhile.  And if it doesn't happen today it's going to be a while longer, because we're not winning the next two, either.

What BDV is saying is we SUCK....If there is anyone that would disagree with that then there's no hope for that person.

Not going to disagree that we suck, just wondering about BDVs method of pointing it out.  Those types of lists are typically reserved for things that go on for years, not weeks.  It just seems like an odd thing to post.

And hopefully the streak will end tonight.  I am solidly on the "fahr Butch" bus, but still don't want to see us go 3-9.
