......and I don't get called for any of the trials. Which is fine with me. But they shouldn't even call lawyers for jury duty. They probably won't get picked.

And I have to do it again tomorrow and every day this week.

Maybe he could take his putter, a few balls and a paper cup and practice putting?

Yep. I've already told my golfing pals that I might not be there. I'm hoping that they won't pick me for a trial that runs into Friday and/or on Friday they won't start a new one.

I thought of that while I was being bored to tears in the jury pool room. But I figured that they wouldn't let the putter through the security check point.

So, I'm reading car magazines.

Out of a jury pool of over 200 peeps, they called 11 names. I had my purse over my shoulder, ready to walk out and they called my name. Really? Wasn't there anybody else in that room who looked a little more willing to serve?

BTW, along with the notice to show up, there was a list of instructions. Is it really necessary to tell people they have to wear shoes and shirts?

Next time I was called was a lot more fun. I got to sit on the Grand Jury and found out all the neat stuff they had aganist crooks they arrested.
