Figuring face value would be a reasonable deal for UF, Dad and I strolled up to the ticket office yesterday and got a couple.

Plus those that are held for season tickets are released to the general public after the first game.  That is from a poster on the Scout board that works in some form with the athletic office.

On the radio broadcast yesterday they said "a few" were still available.

Keep in mind, it isn't just us.  Florida and uga had tons of empty seats in their opener, or that's what the Swamp Rat and Terry Fair were saying last week.

I think the rise of HD TV's and the economy are hurting attendance almost everywhere.

A lot of empty seats for The 'Cocks yesterday as well.

I understand that, in this day and age, most SEC schools aren't going to sell out for Directional Tech A&M.  But this is FLORIDA.  It's less than a week until kickoff, and we still have tickets left?  I'll bet every other SEC school they visit this year (save for perhaps Vandy) has sold out for that game already.  And I expect that we will too before next Saturday.  But it says a lot that we haven't yet.

Florida returned 4000 or so tickets I think.
