We lost to them in the '82 Peach Bowl. I vaguely remember not converting a 4th and short late in the game which killed a go ahead scoring drive.
Yeah, I went to that game with my Dad. IT was in the old Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium and it was miserably cold. Iowa jumped out to a big lead and we came back. I think the final score was something like 28 or 29 to 22.

Grand conspiracy? No. However, money talks, and I don't trust Slive. Seen it many times with Bama in the past few years. Not naive enough to think that it's all on the up and up when so much money is at stake. Damn. Exchange "Kramer" for "Slive" and "Tennessee" for "Bama" and this was a post you could have seen on Tider Insider circa 1998.

The crown of his helmet hit him in the face mask. Period. End of story. I don't care what technicality you come up with, which part of the defender's body hit him first, the fact that helmet contact was made in the head area renders all else moot IMO. As someone else said in the thread, to paraphrase, if that ain't targeting, nothing's targeting.

Yep. But I'll be rooting for two meteors on NYD. I used to like Oregon, before they transformed into Nike U. Now they're at the epicenter of much that is wrong with college sports. But I can't pull for FSU either. Terrible, terrible, terrible. No matter who wins, we all lose.
Yeah, if not for Jameis Winston, FSU would be the least of the four evils, but I just can't pull for that overprivileged, over-protected jackass. I thought Georgia Tech was going to get them for awhile.
