That 2nd half was therapeutic. Lots of hustle plays that had been missing for weeks.

DEFEENSE was suffocating
Boards and Offensive boards in particular
Pons with 7 boards (6 offensive) in the first 5 min or so of the 2nd half
The offense flowed from the defensive effort

Good win...good 2nd half. It was huge getting it down to 5 at the half from being down 14.

Looks like we will most likely play Florida again in our first SECT game.....Florida plays the winner of the Vandy-A&M game and then we play the winner of that game on Friday.

Exactly, Tnphil. The last part of the first half and the entire second half was fun to watch. Defense was much better, which seemed to spark the offense.

It was really nice to see Fulky playing more like we all expected him to to play for the entire season. I’m really hoping that he will carry this over into the postseason. 🤞🏻

Yep. Holding them scoreless after the under 4 timeout ending the half definitely set the stage for what was to happen.

With this great win, I'd say the men's team just passed the threshold between a disappointing and "successful" regular season.  It's hard to say what to expect from the postseason with this Jekyll & Hyde team.  We can beat any team and lose to any team - pretty maddening.  But despite all that, we had a good year.  Here's to getting on a hot streak, baby!

I’d still say it was disappointing. But they showed signs of turning it around. We know they have F4 potential when they’re at their best. Maybe they’re tapping back into that potential at the most opportune time.

Maybe this is just one of those teams that waits till it gets real to show up.  I hope so.
