You know I love you, but please quit with the negative stuff for now. You are depressing me. We should be happy that we have a new coach and stand behind him unless he gives us reasons not to. My Mom used to say that you should make sure all the words you utter are sweet, cause one day you might have to eat them. Come on, find at least one nice thing to say.

Apparently there were "some" who did not notice my anti-Dooley stance when he was hired.  There will be no chance of that this time.

I am hoping this is more like the Doug Dickey hire than the Battle, Kiffin and Dooley hires.  Dickey had no head coaching background, and one assistant coach position (Arky assistant), was hired by Tennessee as head coach, had one bad season to start, and then turned around a totally floundering program.  Fingers crossed here, boss!

Well, I was totally surprised and wait and see on Dooley, but I am enthusiastic about Jones.  I said early that I preferred him to Strong, and I am a big Strong and Louisville fan--I just think Butch can coach.  I hope I am right and you are wrong, but if not, I plan to totally deny ever making these comments.  If I am right, however, look for frequent "I told you so" posts.
