Title: Here's where we see the hypocrisy of the selection committee.... Post by: Black Diamond Vol on March 30, 2014, 10:34:54 EDT Dayton getting a play-in game in their hometown would be unfair, and would destroy the integrity of the game. So let's just give them a bye and send Tennessee in their place.
But UConn playing a higher seed for a trip to the Final Four an hour from their campus, in a venue where they've been playing 4+ games per season for the past 30 years? Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. :frown: Title: Re: Here's where we see the hypocrisy of the selection committee.... Post by: BanditVol on March 30, 2014, 10:45:47 EDT Yup. Not to mention DOOK playing the first round in NORTH CAROLINA, in our bracket no less.
But fizzle them, they lost anyway. :naughty: Title: Re: Here's where we see the hypocrisy of the selection committee.... Post by: Black Diamond Vol on March 31, 2014, 01:23:50 EDT Yup. And UNC and/or Duke must ALWAYS be placed in that region. I'm pretty sure it's in the NCAA by-laws somewhere. :frown: |
