It seems like his leg is stronger. Or he has improved his technique. He doesn't look the same as last year.

And the holder blocking the kick was one of the stranger things I've seen in the college kicking game. 

The kid was just trying to make a play. But the ball got to the goal line before he did.

I've always been uneasy with players diving and holding the ball out trying to hit the goal line or the pylon. It can be knocked out by a defensive player or fumbled. And sure enough, it happened.

But I can't blame a player who goes all out trying to make a big play. We've certainly seen the opposite the last few years.

Without Pig, we wouldn't have even been in position to win the game in the first place.

There's a NFL rule about it but I don't know if there is a college rule.

I don't know the reason behind the rule, I just know that it's the rule. I guess it's to prevent players from just fumbing intentionally into the end zone hoping that a teammate will recover it. If it wasn't a touchback there would be nothing to discourage that.

And yet, so believable.

I'm in the city. It's like they wait until they get here to do it. I think they don't even go at home just so they can do it here. 

I swear 75% of the people that come to my office ask where the bathrooms are as soon as they get here.

I suppose that what one thinks of this depends on one's opinion of these uniforms. (1) They might inspire the team to an outstanding performance on Saturday. Or (2) After the beating we're likely to take, we probably won't see Smokey gray anytime soon in the future.
