I suppose that what one thinks of this depends on one's opinion of these uniforms. (1) They might inspire the team to an outstanding performance on Saturday. Or (2) After the beating we're likely to take, we probably won't see Smokey gray anytime soon in the future.

So there is something for everyone.

UtSports makes it official.  I still think they're going to surprise us with a new helmet as well.

The latter is what worries me.

It was pretty much a given that the gray uni would be worn either of the next two games with I consider this one the odds on favorite

Hey, the early forecast looks like rain for next Saturday. Not only is it the great equalizer, but gray jerseys won't stand out in the rain. Maybe we can sneak our way to a few TDs.

I hope they add the Smokey Gray helmet to the uniform. It would look a whole lot better.

I still say don't touch the helmets.  Helmets should remain sacred.  JMO

If it looks like rain, I'll sell my tickets and keep Dad's, which are dry

There will be a frontal passage sometime this weekend that will bring a much enhanced chance of rain and storms. Yesterday's model runs showed it Saturday afternoon/evening. Subsequent runs have delayed it until overnight and into early Sunday.
