According to some things I am hearing apparently this is his coach wanting to become a college coach that is pushing Peters to go to Arkansas.  Apparently Mama Peters is not a happy camper and that she does not approve of him going to Arkansas.  Sounds like the coach thinks he could parlay this into a position on Petrinos staff if he can get Peters to sign.

You don't have the leverage now to move your company to "strategic IT."  You're just getting lip service from them, now.  Further your credentials (MBA) while you have it "comfy." Then, find a better external opportunity.  Only then, when faced with losing you, will you have the leverage for your current company to possibly counteroffer in a meaningful and lasting way.   And the odds are, they will either not be in a position, or will not desire, to counteroffer in a meaningful way (their mission or culture could be ingrained).  So you will then likely choose to take the "better" external job.

"I am a big fan of my company, especially the company owner who is one of the most ethical people I've ever met in business." I had chance to leave within the last few months, but pass due to fact a that my boss goes out of his way to take care of me and my family. He sees my family as me and makes sure I take time with my wife and small daughter which is so rare these days, but I do miss the chance for new growth within my current company. I am maxed out I will have same job as long as I am here. As mid 40's first time Dad I guess job title and career for a few years takes a backseat to begin "DA DA", but at some point be it 5 years ,10 years or next week  I am going hit the same crossroad.

I have a long distance tie friend of friend deal.

 I have never seen him play in person, but planning on this year. I know stats aren't huge due to O they run, but I keep hearing a lot folks saying he is ACC or SEC qb. I just saw post on TOS asking the same thing. Anyone seen him play or have any information? I know plans are to have him camp over the summer.

I think it is good for him that we look to be switching to the 3-4. I think he will be a great 3-4 ILB. I am not convinced that he would be a great 4-3 Mike.

Good Call...I am excited to see us switch to some to 3-4. I have never been a 3-4 or 4-3 is better guy, but they are a lot ways to get it done. I just think 3-4 suits us better talent wise right now. My wife begin WVU grad I keep watching them play the 3-3-5, and I have came to believe the best d for any team is the d that matches talent the best. CM and JS could be beast in 3-4 set.

Yeah I was at  CES. I believe it gets bigger ever year this year hit insane! 4 hours to get my ID! plus proof of job and photo id to even get in.

Indications are that he will be named the new DC by Friday. Will likely bring Michael Barrow with him.

If so, this would be a huge home run.

I think they maybe a couple contract issues to work out was told by friend who is a life long Canes booster and fan would happen this week or not at all. He prasied Barrow to no end, and said Shannon still has a great rep in Canes family as DC. He said Randy Shannon was a class act.

I am 45 years old I was just talking with buddy the same age we couldn't come up with time that has been as hard to be a Vols fan. I am declaring today 2012 will be better we will win in football!
