I was not impressed with the physical strength of the Vols at all. Three strenght and conditioning coaches in three years is a bit much, but have we really seen an improvement in the over all strength of this team? From my perspective not at all. Dooley is a data guy and for three years all three S&C coaches have given data that shows dramatic increases in strength. If this is true what's the deal?

Could it be they are getting stronger but are still behind on stamina?  Hopefully another years worth of lifting and running will give more results on the field.

A good example is Poole.. Absolutely no burst this past year.  He ran like a fullback.

Exactly...he got too big, imo, to be an effective tailback.

I'm not ready to call the current S&C coach a failure based on less than one full off season.  If we don't see improvement this year perhaps its worth discussion.
