in Security Forces at Eglin in Fla. He was expecting to go on his second deployment and I'm sure he's concerned this could keep him back. My wife and I are very concerned...doesn't matter how old they get or how big and tough, or how many weapons they are qualified with....they're still our "kids".

Y'all have them! His lower right quadrant, am I correct? If so, it's his appendix and depending when his deployment is (Month out?) He should be with his guys. But the vomiting and pain suggest that will be the first thing that is checked. It's not that big of a deal unless it is you or the family as long as it doesn't burst. Of couse, I would never be able to convince Mom, Dad & the Mrs. of that. Right? That man has to be "Army Tough" going through PT with all that happening. I'd have to give him a God, country, and spirit award! Be sure and let him know we are proud of him and praying for a speedy recovery. G

to Eglin's staff G/I doctor. His name is Dr. Razor (yes) and he is a dick. He gave me a colonoscopy with too little anethesia and I was concious while he laughed at me. Long story, but he crosses the street when he sees me now. Seriously, you need some help e-mail me or Emeril can get me on the phone.

I can't imagine what kind of stamina is needed to take a PT test while you're having an appendix issue. Praying for him.
