What was their excuse against Texas?

Texas is a pretty damn good football team with a good offense and great coach who beat a high powered Okie State pretty good last night.....And LSU won.

Today shutting down these teams with high powered offenses are things of the past....It's not the 70's anymore.

Hm, maybe.  Why did bammer give up 27 to Junior?  I think I see a common thread with both LSU and bammer. Both have gone from power running, tough D, old school conservative to throwing the ball around the field.  Which tires out their defenses, which in turn allows the other team to score more points.  I think the game in Tuskalooser is going to be a shootout.  If I still gambled on sports, I would take the over for sure.  Might try to do that anyway.
