Title: There’s never been a truly great videogame to film/tv adaptation…
Post by: Black Diamond Vol on January 10, 2023, 05:59:48 EST
…but if the early reviews are accurate, it sounds like “The Last of Us” will be the first. This is probably the best story ever written for the gaming genre. I can’t wait to see how it translates to TV.

Premiering Sunday on HBO.

Really?  Not familiar with the game, have seen the trailer as it's being pimped non-stop.

Wasn't too impressed with the very serious statement by what appears to be a teenage girl.  She seemed to be giving leadership advice. I tend to be skeptical of teenagers suddenly leading a bunch of adults.  It's just a silly pandering to the under 20 crowd IMO.

Having said that, I may be completely misreading the comment and admit I know absolutely nothing about the game.  :naughty:

I learned this one simple trick to avoid posts that don’t interest me. You won’t believe what happened next!

I heard about that too!  I’ve heard it’s really easy, too.

Frist ep was fantastic. This cast for the most part are not the actors I had pictured for these roles, but I'll get used to it.
