Would like to see more of it in short yardage situations to pick up the first down..Maybe even throw it down field for a td cause you know Auburn will key on the run and won't be expecting a pass in that situation

Yes,I know last weeks game was a dumpster fire and what ever could go wrong did with 6 turn overs.
BUT.. The running game has showed signs and gained about 148 yards last week.
UGA has struggled against the run this year and UT usually plays jaw jaw pretty tight
between the hedges and a 35 point underdog is a bit much imo.
UT has to have some things bounce their way and protect the ball and do a better job protecting the qb
but I wouldn't count them out of this game because for all that went wrong last week,
if UGA takes the Vols lightly and thinks it's gonna be an easy win,I'm sure our players are chomping at the bit to try to redeem themselves..We'll see..Is why they play the game..Go Vols!!

I saw some good things from this game and a few not so good..
Although it was the first game of the year for the most part the penalties were few but the ones they had were costly at key moments.. That can be fixed.
This team will go as far as that young secondary will take it,they need to get better and fast.
There's no excuse for having 10 men on the field,they dodged a bullet with that play.
The positive is that it was a non conference game,a good learning experience.
WVU will win a lot of games this year and will give a lot of teams fits.
I don't see us beating Bama,Auburn or UGA but any of the remaining SEC games are fair game imo and we might just pull out a surprise win if this team stays healthy.. Go Vols!

Yeah.. I had hopes after all the crap this week that the players would execute better and play with passion but again,questionable play calling to start the game. First play of the game you come out throwing the ball instead of trying to establish some kind of running attack and you throw an int... WTF? Not impressed.. Set the tone of the game in the wrong way

A&M back up qb was snapping the ball way too early on their last couple of possessions before Bruins took the lead..They were snapping the ball with 15 seconds or so still on the play clock..Could have melted at least a couple of  more mins off the clock..Serious lack of focus melt down for sure.

It's a much needed win,even if it's against Tech..Jones and the team need to focus on UK,period..There's still a shot at the SEC East and ATL..A lot left to play for,one game at a time.. Go Vols!

2 years ago Dobbs gashed them with his legs...today he helped them with his arm.. pathetic play calls..tried to win the game with his arm which is fair to midland at it's best instead of rolling him out and letting him take off..When will they learn that he is not a pocket passer???
