Title: "Old Man" football rules in the SEC Post by: JeffCountyVolFan on September 16, 2012, 04:29:08 EDT Until we get a running game that is a threat to pu up points we will not
return to upper echelon status in this league. While I thought our ground game was ok in the first half, it is not a threat that top SEC defenses are gonna worry about. I just don't think you can be successful in this league unless teams know that they must fear your ground game first. Defenses are just too good for that in the SEC. Just realize that we are much, much improved from last year in this area, and there is a hope we will continue to improve as the season wears on. |
