All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.
—T. E. Lawrence,
The Seven Pillars of Wisdom

I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan in a Navy P-3 squadron at Kadena AFB and we use to watch the KC-135 fully loaded takeoff and use ever foot of the runway. Our flight line was next to a SR-71 flight line and we always new when the SR-71's were about to go because the KC-135's would leave about 30 minutes prior. Okinawa folks called the SR-71s Habu in reference to the viper snake of the island.

Great photo. I was just thinking about the way people view the government nowadays, how many people would complain that this a waste of taxpayer money? Unfortunately certain types feel the military is one big waste of taxpayer money. Sad. I just wonder in a few years what will military retirement look like? I hope they leave it alone. I love the photo.
