All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.

I've never really been a believer where JG is concerned. I've seen nothing so far this season to change my mind. We need a serviceable QB badly.

Pirate....I've said for 3 years he's not a SEC QB.....You could tell in nut cutting time the staff had no faith him him. With a QB the game would have been over in the 3rd quarter. Our last drive all we need was first downs and they would have never gotten the ball back.....and we were handing off because they have no faith in JG.

With BYU's QB we win that game by 20.

Vol fans expecting JG to finally have a breakout game is kinda like Charlie Brown expecting that Lucy will hold the ball down for him this time

He had a break out game against Auburn last year.  Just hasn't been able to repeat it.

Let's be real.  He threw up 50/50 balls all game that day and our receivers caught them.

Beyond that day, what's he done?  He's got a strong arm, he looks the part... But he's never done the other QB stuff notably well.

He's a redshirt Jr and is 6-14.

There's some sort of saying that doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.....or some such BS.

Maybe so, but I saw the replay right before the season started, and 50-50 balls or no, he looked sharp that day.

But I agree he hasn't progressed.  Just doesn't have the aggression to be a truly good QB.  Too afraid to make a mistake.  Needs more of a gunslinger mentality.
