AWFUL. horrific. Could be the worst movie made since Gigli.

Really?  I liked the book a lot as a child, and was going to go see it.  Might hold off now.

It is a sci-fi movie.  What did you expect?  I thought the special effects were good.  The eye candy was great looking.  If you went expecting a story line or the next great film, again..it is a science fiction movie.  It was entertaining and dated because it was based on a story written in 1880's.  Of course it made no sense.  Most movies are bad because people go expecting something else.

The princess was a babe.  Indulge a dirty old senior.
