Utah State announced as 2014 opponent

Season opener, according to Ralph Russo. I'm guessing that it's going to be the Sept. 6 home game before the trip to Oklahoma, as Chattanooga will be the season opener on 8/30/14.

Apparently Utah State was already on the schedule (for November) and is simply being moved, which shows how much I know.  Fortenberry says it will be 8/30/13. Is Chattanooga being taken off the schedule? If so, good.

We're going to be ridiculously young next year, so USU might be a pretty scary opening game.  Didn't they almost beat Auburn a a couple years ago?

BTW, I hate playing the 1aa teams as much as anyone, but if we have to do it, might as well stick with the state schools.    Martin got a nice payday a couple years back, AP is getting it this year, so why not give the same opportunity to UTC, Tech, and whomever else wants it.  Better them than Montana or WKU.

WKU has been FBS since '08. 

I'd rather not play an FCS team, period. PERIOD. Those games suck.
