Title: We are NOT playing a 3-4 defense Post by: PirateVOL on October 01, 2012, 12:58:45 EDT We are playing a 4-3-4 or, more often, playing a 4-2-5 (at times 4-1-6).
We really don't play two OLB. At least one is one is on the LOS at the snap an overwhelming majority of the snaps. Maggitt played at least some pure DE Saturday. Saturday we often played Moore as an OLB by formation. When we went to the 6 db set Brewer played the 2nd LB position, essentailly an OLB and Moore went back to safety. Just go back and look at the differences between our LBs and uga's Saturday afternoon, both in formation and playmaking.
