...He said that the FB coaching search would be his "sole focus" until the hire has been made.

He's currently in the Bahamas with the hoops team.

Yes, it takes so long for a ship to carry a letter back  to the states from the Bahamas.  What is Currie thinking?  If only we had faster communication methods these days, I might understand.

"Sole focus".  Those were his words, and they leave zero wiggle room for multi-tasking.  If he's traveling with the basketball team, then by definition, he's not soley focusing on the football coaching search right now.  

So that either means he lied, or the deed has already been done.  I choose to believe the latter.  I hope I'm right.
