I thought the deep ball to Ramel was the best pass Milton has thrown as a Vol.  Touch with air, and you could almost see him conciously dialing it back.  I agree he needs to work on pocket presence, his tendency under pressure is to bail out the back rather than slide up or take it upfield.

Coaches salaries inflating disposable income may be a bigger culprit than grocery or gas prices.  Brohm/Louisville $6M.  Louisville-Football-NOT Basketball-Football-Louisville.  Where is the ceiling?

Absolutely did not expect it.  I said before the season that 9-3 would mean we had to go 3-1 against Pitt, UF, LSU, and Ky.  Never considered going 4-0. Never considered beating bama. Never considered losing to SCar.  Never really considered anything beyond 8-4.  This was a GREAT season.

The LBs were pretty much a non factor most of the night and were a huge liability in the throw game in zone or man

Banks wouldn't have mattered here except possibly on some of the RB swing passes.  Our LBs are historically bad in zone, terrible drops & terrible eye discipline

We played 4 corners tonight with near zero effectiveness by all 4
A few times that were in position (or should have been) to make plays and seemed to wonder what this object was coming their way
The two starters regressed badly from  the previous 2 games, the b/u demonstrated why they weren't starting

We have zero cover corners with zero on-ball skills, can't play man-can't play zone, and one has a mouth that needs to sit him

The safeties?  Best keep my mouth shut

I only see one scenario (if both UT & UGA win out) that possibly burns us~~~TCU wins out and OSU/Mich is a one score game either way.  The worst case would be LSU winning out.

I don't do "what ifs", and UGA beat us in every way, but keep in mind that we missed 3 open deep balls that we had been hitting on a regular basis.  It is not impossible to beat the dawgs, just not with 8 pre-snap penalties and 6 sacks.  

Saban understated it, poor guy must have been absolutely terrified.

"They created a lot of mismatches. We were trying to play nickel, so they were trying to get their best receivers on the safeties, and they hit a couple times and we gave up big plays. We started dropping eight guys, that helped us in the second quarter. We did the same thing in the third quarter and played some dime so we’d have some better matchups against them. So we made some good adjustments in the game, but we just gave up too many big plays. Even in the second half, they scored on big plays.”

You could not be more on point about OL-huge factor in this win, and most improved unit by far.

Hendon Hooker is about to force ESPN to hunt for a safety or a punter to tout for the Heisman.

Speaking of Hooker, those last two throws on a rope, across the middle, into coverage were NFL quality.
