CBJ said Jumper did a good job "getting us lined up"

Yep. He didn't make many tackles though.

Kirkland is the obvious star MLB - let him get the start coach. This is Oklahoma we are talking about. Plus, Kirkland knows how to do it according to him anyway. Need the MLB to make plays this week.

If they show it on the game telecast watch how much R-M was correcting Jumper, at times he looked like a kernel of corn being popped
Not sure about differences in pre-snap alignment between the two but to my eyes we made more plays with Kirtland in the game

The play Kirkland made on the QB making him fumble was off the charts. He even recovered the fumble in the end zone. Yes it did not count (should have), but he was in there like a shot. That is the kind of playmaking we need in SEC play from the MLB.

Nut, after hearing his PC I am not ready to draw the same conclusion as you seem to have.
Despite my "observations" it seems the staff liked where Jumper was with regards to setting the formation.  However, he flat stated that Kirtland's athleticism will get him on the field as he learns the defense.  Listening to Butch it seemed to me he was waiting (& hoping) the light to go on for Kirtland.

I wouldn't say he's getting Levine'd.  Unlike Fulmer, Butch has shown no hesitation to play freshmen.  If he's not starting Kirkland, I'm sure he has a good reason.
