I'd say it's mostly on Hurd IMO.....But when you lose 2 5 stars in 3 weeks it's never a good thing for your program. Hurd...a 3 year starter, 400 yards away from breaking the rushing record and he walks away. Not good. Got butt hurt over getting his ass chewed for showboating, getting his clock cleaned and fumbling away a TDI'd say it's mostly on Hurd IMO.....But when you lose 2 5 stars in 3 weeks it's never a good thing for your program. Did you see the video of the team reaction after his TD Saturday night, telling Title: Re: Hurd quit Post by: 10EC on October 31, 2016, 06:59:53 EDT He can only transfer to Div. II right?
Title: Re: Hurd quit Post by: Tnphil on October 31, 2016, 07:00:38 EDT The only significant thing "injured" Saturday was his butt Did you see the video of the team reaction after his TD Saturday night, telling No...I missed that. No reaction by the team? Quitting on your coaches is one thing......Quitting on your teammates during the season is very telling. Title: Re: Hurd quit Post by: Tnphil on October 31, 2016, 07:03:44 EDT He can only transfer to Div. II right? Unless he's on track to graduate by next August is my understanding....If so he can transfer anywhere like Nate Peterman did. The SEC has a rule you can't transfer to another SEC team under the graduate rule....But that was blown to heck when the SEC office allowed the Bama player to transfer to UGA this year. Title: Re: Hurd quit Post by: 10EC on October 31, 2016, 07:04:41 EDT So he is going to Auburn then...
Title: Re: Hurd quit Post by: PirateVOL on October 31, 2016, 07:05:01 EDT No...I missed that. No reaction by the team? Yeah, I missed it in the stadium as the score was on the far end and I was not direct to the team benchQuitting on your coaches is one thing......Quitting on your teammates during the season is very telling. When he got up a couple of pats on the helmet and he walks to the bench. Maybe 2 players congratulate him in his journey No excitement, sorta like good, now go sit down and sulk on your own Title: Re: Hurd quit Post by: PirateVOL on October 31, 2016, 07:10:15 EDT Unless he's on track to graduate by next August is my understanding....If so he can transfer anywhere like Nate Peterman did. Hyams tweeted (I know, consider the source) that he is not expected to graduateThe SEC has a rule you can't transfer to another SEC team under the graduate rule....But that was blown to heck when the SEC office allowed the Bama player to transfer to UGA this year. He can transer to another D1-A and sit a year and then have a year left since he hasn't taken a redshirt yet. He can transfer to a D1-AA, D2, or D3, or NAIA school and be immediately eligible to play one more year. |
