They were stupid for giving Malzahn that raise and extension last year because they were afraid he was gonna leave. He has them over a barrel now.

And yet, if you treat this year as the first in a rebuilding project by Malzahn, it just gives him time to do it right without crazed fans pushing him out prematurely.  If only Fulmer had a 32 million buyout in 2008.
