They announced he was playing on one of the pregame shows at least 4-5 hours prior to game start, maybe more, and I meant to post it on here but did not have time.

I think it made a HUGE difference.  Some of the holes opened for what Tim Irwin calls our "three headed monster at RB" were just amazing.  Coop made such a difference in this game, glad he is back and looking forward to Tamu!

He gave it his all last night
He was gassed in the 2nd
He was very gassed in the 3rd
I don't know how he was still standing in the 4th
On the Sampson TD he was VERY slow to get up
When he got to the bench he flopped and had a conversation with Ellerbe (till the put the shield up)
He sat out the last 4 snaps but it was a well deserved rest
Anybody questioning Coop needs to check into the nearest brain care ward

All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.

From what I understand, the "hernia repair" surgery he had is very painful and also painful to recover from, and if you come back too soon it will relapse. I think the staff was spot on to bring him back slowly, both for his own sake and the sake of the greater season. It cost us at UF, but was 100% the right long term decision.

Anyone calling him soft should IMO be forced to do a UFC cage match with him.
