Former 5 star High School recruit Gunner Kiel is transferring out of Notre Dame. Would y'all want Gunner Kiel to transfer to Tennessee? What are your opinions out there?
One of our writers on Bamaonline-247 or TideSports-Rivals (not sure which) thinks UT should be in very good shape for him, and it's his guess that's where he lands. BG

OK I am coming down to Tuscaloosa this fall.....where is the tailgate now?
I don't know, but I'll find one. I'll tell them the dang best Tailgating Cook of ALLTIME is coming, too! I told you and OJ last time at the very least all the beer and food you want I'll pay for at the watering holes etc along the strip. I will try to get with a friend who I post with on BamaOnline as he has a tailgate and has invited me several to attend but I've yet to do. I know he would enjoy you and Pirate, and if not that, then be in Bham that Friday night and me and my son n law will take you guys out for dinner and drinks on me...It would be my pleasure

Good show....saw him play many times in person....You will enjoy it!
Really!?! Wow. I think of those days when I was a kid and remember the National League All-Star starting outfield of Mays, Clemente and Aaron. Watching it now, up to to the 3,000 hit part.

This should be a pretty good season for the Bravos, they should suprise people with their hitting. I think the Braves will win probably 90-95,It doesn't help that the Nationals could win 100. My Dad will be suffering with the Yankees this season,Texeira and Granderson out until mid May. I think the Yanks will win 84-85 games which probably means new Manager in 2014.
Yep, already watched a few exhibition games on the MLB Network. Go Cubbies-Go Yanks!

Things were so nice and peaceful here............ I know, but nothing like four letter words such as Tide and Bama to get yall ready for some football! BTW Iris, here's part of a post from you to me from about 10 years ago: "Yes, of course I remember you and your wife!! (in reference to the 1996 meeting at Legion Field) You have no idea how many times we have wondered where the heck you went off to. In fact, just about every time I get an email from Wylie (Wylie Vol aka Mark) he ask if I've heard from you." See, You frown at me now, and dog gone it I think enough of you to save a post to me from you on 5/11/2002 1:01 P.M. I just found that yesterday in an old folder along with a post from my old friend at Volchat TennCup (VolNick)

OSU's schedule is laughable....only game they might get tested is Mich. They have a cakewalk to the BCS.
True dat! It's like ND this year. They were no better than a mid-level (if that) SEC type of team. It's funny, but before the SEC Championship game, we were telling the Dawg fans "do you realize that in all likely hood this game is for the National Championship." They of course did. The SEC is just unbelievable, and nothing has EVER come close to the dominance of this conference.

Great place to visit, especially if you're a history nut such as I. Some great old places from the late 18th and early 19th century have been redone and are avaliable for accomodations. If history is your thing, you'll really like Charleston as you would Williamsburg, Va. which is completely awesome to me since my favorite historical time in the US is the 1700's.

I have a cell phone that makes calls out and takes calls in. That's it, nothing else. I'm happy.....nobody ever calls me anyway.
As Cookvol and myself would say about that last sentence..."so true...so true"

Since we're just a few hours away, we go to the panhandle several times a year. White sand and beautiful green water. My favorites include Destin--probably the best water and Orange Beach, Al--big high rises, and great places to stay. Both have great beaches. One area that is my very favorite is Seaside (where the Jim Carrey film "The Truman Show" was filmed) and next to that beach is another great area in Sea Grove. These are much smaller communities than Orange Beach, but that's one of their best attributes in my opinion. You're located between Destin and Panama City and can easily drive to either for a visit or dinner. Have fun!
