That could be a problem for us.  They were to be our opening opponent in Nashville next year.  It will be tough to find a replacement at this late date.  We already have Western Carolina on the schedule, so we can't take another FCS team.

Been rumored for some time. They have a first year head coach in Bill Clark who was an excellent HS school coach. Possibly he will now end up at Troy who has an opening.

I coached Bill Clark in HS. He was one of my lineman. When he left Jacksonville State as their HC, he did not know about their plans to drop football. Paul Bryant Jr. and the rest of the BOT don't want to take any money away from the Mothership in T-town.
