I was surprised.

Title: Re: UT starting QB's record since 1980 Post by: 10EC on October 21, 2020, 09:41:36 EDT Sucks for Jerry Colquitt. That would have been a great team.
Title: Re: UT starting QB's record since 1980 Post by: JeffCountyVolFan on October 22, 2020, 01:21:27 EDT I sent those numbers to a friend who is very down on JG. He checked and says that the numbers are incorrect. He says JG is actually 12-17. I'm not gonna invest the time to check those numbers either, but I would not be surprised if he is right (information on the internet is very often inaccurate - bon Jour). The 12-17 is still not good, but it would at least be better than 9-17.
According to this friend, JG is 18-20 in games that he has played in and 6-3 when coming off the bench. I'd buy that for a dollarAccording to this friend, JG is 18-20 in games that he has played in and 6-3 when coming off the bench. Don't have time nor really care to investigate myself His current level of play (or lack of) is enough for me Title: Re: UT starting QB's record since 1980 Post by: Tnphil on October 22, 2020, 04:39:32 EDT No matter his numbers....and some games he started and some he didn't.....He sucks and shouldn't ever see the field again unless all the other QB's are A) Injured or B) Sick. And I'd go to the Wildcat or single wing before I'd put him in again.
If Maurer hadn't kept getting concussed last year and didn't know what state he was in, JG would have never started another game. Then this preseason Maurer has been hurt and caught up in Covid isolation and the same for Bailey....Shrout has been our only other option up till this point and we all saw why Pruitt and company have no faith in him.
