Post by: ct4vols on October 12, 2011, 10:16:44 EDT given our QB situation, and how Simms did last year would you consider playing Whirley, even though we want to red shirt him, with Bray out 4-6 weeks wouldn't he give us the best shot of winning? Last year we put a freshman a QB and look at the numbers he put up this year... couldn't we play Whirley see the same outcome??

Why play Whorley when you have a good idea how your qb will respond? Do you want all that weight on a freshman and worry at the same time you might get him killed? How could it affect his psyche?
