I now have papers. I don't know if I am AKC or UKC though?

The gold is for honors, Summa Cum Laude, the red, white, and blue is for the 7 years I spent in the Tennessee National Guard. Which I thought was very cool they recognized all the Veterans (which I don't consider myself on the same level at all as the guys who saw action). They gave it to me though so I wore it.

Well, sir, conga-rats!

And, as I have told you on here before, if you served you absolutely are a veteran!  Don't shortchange your service just because you are not a combat vet.   Sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine, as many vets do not get the services they deserve, and need, because they do not consider themselves vets (even many who were in combat areas but did not actually fight).  I represented many soldiers who were severely injured during (and some later died due to) their service, and they never stepped foot on a battlefield.  Ok, rant over.  Congrats again!

When I was at the Hill I was awarded Ima Yell Loudly. Not quite as prestigious as Summa Cum Laude, but you take what they give you.
