Who knows if he even plays weekend after next but it's safe to say Clowney is S-O-F-T soft and we need to absolutely wear him out. That was my first thought on his situation as well. Though, the way he is going about it, is probably costing him millions as well as his draft status is getting worse and worse. Of course USC downplayed it, but now it appears that he is listening to someone outside the program.
Title: As a fan I don't, and if I were his coach I wouldn't, Post by: VOLMAN on October 08, 2013, 04:31:51 EDT like it but if I were 21 with a chance to make millions and had witnessed my teammate (Lattimore) blow out both knees and had witnessed numerous other great athletes seemingly hurt themselves by getting in trouble etc. only to go on and suffer little, if any, negative consequences by making a great showing in the NFL combine....I might be tempted to cruise through my last year too. Even if he doesn't have great stats this year, he's proven what he can do and if he stays in peak shape and does well at the combine he's gonna get the bucks. :patriot:
