What does this mean for the remote possibility that UT might land Bob Stoops? Would he come to the SEC to coach directly against his little brother?

I think the possibility of Bob Stoops coming here was always very remote (far less likely than Gruden, IMO), but coaching against Mark probably does nothing to make him more interested. FWIW I don't think this is a good hire for UK. |

I think the possibility of Bob Stoops coming here was always very remote (far less likely than Gruden, IMO), but coaching against Mark probably does nothing to make him more interested.
FWIW I don't think this is a good hire for UK.
UK is Basketball first and is not willing to shell out big money for a top notch Head Football Coach(examples Rich Brooks and Joker Phillips) |

Really? I was impressed they got a name that big. But if I am not mistaken, Stoops has failed as an HC before, if that's where you are coming from. |

 Mike was the head coach at Arizona, not Mark. However, I do think Mark can do as good a job at UK as Nelson Briles has done at Baylor. |
