?here?s a reminder that after Butch Jones let TN native and lifelong Vol fan Trevor Lawrence get away, he ?settled? for Michael Penix. And even after Butch was canned, Penix planned on sticking to his UT commitment. But two weeks before signing day, Jeremy Pruitt informed him that he wasn?t wanted in Knoxville.

And even after this stunning parade of incompetence, Pruitt still got Hendon Hooker out of the portal. And if he had played his two years under Pruitt, he almost certainly would?ve been among the worst statistical QBs in the SEC, if he had even played at all.

I spent my middle school and early HS years in the Seattle suburbs of Magnolia, and I rode my bike through Huskie stadium routinely, so yeah,  pulling for U dub ♥️😅
