All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.

The bottom line is that UT has offered TV pretty much everything he has asked for, and as I have posted before, includes a salary in the $1.25-1.5 million range for 5 or 6 years.

They have committed to $35-40 million in facilities.

And, again, Peyton Manning and Larry Pratt took the lead on getting commitments for that money, not Danny White.

So, the ball is squarely in Vitello's and White's court.

I am also told that LSU has backchanneled a number of $2.2 million per year to Jimmy Sexton.  And we all know Sexton.  He's the holdup here, but to be fair, it is his job to get his client the best deal possible.

Brian O'Connor is apparently LSU's first choice, and Vitello second.  But O'Conner has made it clear that he won't talk until UVA is no longer playing in Omaha.  And apparently O'Connor represents himself, and has no intermediary.

Bottom line:  Vitello and Sexton need to shizzle or get off the pot.
