Please no one take this as me defending Butch. But, from the players' perspective, wouldn't you be sick and tired of hearing how bad your coach is? That would get me as fired up as anything as a player.

If we win this game, what does it mean to you? How does your opinion of Butch and the staff change? I personally wouldn't be surprised by a W, but I would still need some time and to see more games to make a final decision.

Ok I didn't realize it was through 2020, but I knew the buyout was hefty. So apparently he's looking for another extension I'm guessing. But either way it sounds like he's here for another year or two at least.

From a friend who had dinner with Jimmy Sexton this past week, he was told that 8 wins gets Butch the big extension. Less than that, no extension which in his words "is the same as being fired in the SEC". Either way, it doesn't sound like he's going anywhere until his contract is up due to his large buy-out.

I feel the same way about playing against an option offense. But what concerned me more than that is when they lined up and ran the ball right up the gut for 5 or 6 yards at a time. There's nothing tricky about that. That's just getting beat up front pure and simple. But, with that said I am still waiting for our first test against a traditional offense. Not sure we will get as much of that test as we would like against Florida from what I saw of their offense, or lack of, against Michigan. As always I'm proud of this team and their "don't quit" attitude. It's always great to see a team that doesn't give up. Take it to Indiana St and let's get to 2-0!

Honestly, I think I'm more up in the air about the DL than the OL for the first time in a long time.

I had to go back and refresh myself on his situation.  I had heard that he was recently acquitted in two murders, but I had forgotten that he was previously convicted of another murder.  That he is a POS I won't disagree.  

I guess just for me, personally, I go by what the Good Book says:

"Judge not that you be not judged".

So I'll agree to disagree.

It was reported by him on 104.5 the Zone in Nashville. Like I said, I'm not a Hyams guy, just telling you what he said. Doesn't mean I believe it or not. Doesn't mean I agree with it or not. Do I think Fulmer is the hire? No. But somebody somewhere is putting this info out there to him. Probably, as was said, just a power play by a select few people.

That's what I mean. Fulmer just happens to have friends of the program that just happen to have some $$. Not saying it's good or bad, just saying what I read.

Have to agree with Diamond on this one. Dobbs gave us a much needed spark earlier in the season, but there are definitely some issues. Do I think he can lead us in the future?.....yes, but I 100% understand why Butch was redshirting him. Regardless we are going bowling for the first time since 2010? I believe, and that is a positive. I am excited for the future of this program.

I agree 100%. Also couldnt believe he didnt touch the ball more. That's insane. I dread meeting UGA this year.

There's just something about him that is so reassuring. We all know it's going to be a tough year, but something about him with that little grin, like he has something up his sleave, is very comforting and exciting.

LOL trust me midtnvol has no fantasy of a preseason T-25 volunteer squad this year. He is as realistic as they come. We'll be back there eventually. Idk about you all but I got a good laugh out of it. Rodney Dangerfield "i can't get no respect"
