San Francisco's defense is pretty stout.  I see the Falcons winning primarily because of the home field, but I see a very close game.

I am surprised to see the Falcons rolling like they are.  The 49er defense hasn't even slowed them down yet.

Falcons look like they are on a mission.

The Falcons defense is a different animal with John Abraham out there

No former Vols, but there are two Knoxville area guys on the roster.

Tyson Clabo, who played at Farragut High and Wake Forrest, along with Garret Reynolds (Art's son) who played at Carter High and North Carolina.

Phillip Fulmer did not give either of them the time of day out of high school.

I saw Garratt Reynolds play in High School. I remember him being real tall but gangly. Sam Pittman made a player out of Garratt. I wish Pittman was still at UT. He is a heck of a coach.

Well, that sucked.  But it's a wonder we made it this far with that defense.  Draft day had better be all about DLs and DBs.

The game was very similar to last week's game against the Seahawks.  Huge lead early, let them back in it, but lost this time.

When Ryan lined up for 3rd and four on their last drive, he just did not look confident.  Atlanta still needs a bit more mental toughness, IMO, but beating the Seahawks earlier had to help.

He was in pain- it looked like he hurt his shoulder pretty badly a couple plays earlier.  So even if they would have scored and won the game at the end, Ryan would probably be less than 100% for the SB- if he had played at all.
