For those who aren't on Facebook... I captioned this photo "Happy Jeff"

So far I'm very pleased. Obviously this is the nicest car I've ever owned. Although, the built-in nav got me lost Saturday night.

Same tag I had on the old car. My wife and a couple of other people have told me that I should get a non-black tag (silver, pewter, something like that) to stand out. The old car was silver with the black tag.

I actually think it's perfect in black . . . then the orange T stands out even more, IMO.

But, but, but - black isn't an official color of the University of Tennessee.  We are orange and white.

I agree with a couple of other posters, by the way.  Stay with the black background.  It looks good.

If you can find one with a RealTree or MossyOak camo, let me know.  Very Interested.

And truck nuts.  Gotta have the truck nuts.  And don't do it on the cheap, either.  Drop 3 C-notes on the chrome version- your car will just scream "class".

The GPS settings from the factory are awful...Mapquest awful.  You have to fiddle with them...I am wondering if the previous owner never changed them.

I know it needs to be updated. I didn't have a lot of time this weekend because Saturday was chock full... bought the car, came home, sold the other one, activated the XM and cancelled my old one, jumped in the shower, and ran out for a dinner party. Then yesterday was a homework day. Tonight I am going to try to read up on updating the GPS.

Nice transportation. They really did a great job on the front end. With as much damage as it incurred who would have thought it would ever be road worthy again. Probably why the GPS is scrambled, happens alot in major front end crashes. Just goes to show you that "totaled" doesn't mean what it used to.

True story. The wife of a guy at the golf club bought a pre-owned Porsche Boxster after her Mercedes SLK was totaled. It had a good Car Fax and everything looked fine until she bought it and started having problems with the AC. The fan just wouldn't put out much air and she could hear something rattling. She took it in for service and they opened it up and found about a bucket full of acorns inside. Apparently squirrels like Porsches, too.
