Yeah he's gone. He has a family, best for all of them. Wish him all the best, and thanks for being a VOL.

I wonder too. Heard he wasn't doing much school work this year, or the latter part anyway, probably will.

Best move for Hunter, given his family obligations.

I expect he will make a big splash in the NFL given it will be his 2nd year after surgery.  Good speed, route runner, and ball skills you can't teach. He struggled this year but it was all mental. He won't have that issue next year. Seems like a good kid and I wish him well.  Probably a 2nd round pick because of this year unless his combine showing puts him in the 1st round.

Likely high 2nd round, but has a shot at low first round, just based on the different projections I have seen.

He definitely has the physical tools for the NFL, but he drops a lot of balls. He'll have to improve that in the pros.

He did this year, but I think his mind was partly on his knee whether he knew it or not. I don't remember him dropping much of anything pre-injury.

Yeah, that was pretty much confined to this year, and it got better as the season wore on.

He did struggle against physical defenses. He will need to get stronger, but he has elite athleticism

Hum.

Well, I don't think he's THAT talented.  TO is one of the top 5 receivers of all times, at least in stats.

And he's certainly not the head case TO was.

So I am going to have to disagree on this one.

I wonder why Tennessee didn't recruit Him? He went to UT-Chattanooga

The key phrase there is "He went to UT-Chattanooga".  No other D1-As recruited him, either.

Legend has it that he thought he was signing with UT, and was surprised to find out that he actually signed with UTC.

I have a feeling that is nothing more than a legend.  Nobody could be that stupid.

You are probably correct. But remember what Ricky Foggie said. Ricky was a star QB at Laurens High (SC) and signed with Lou Holtz and U. of Minnesota. After spending a few days in the Minnesota winter he said that if he had known how cold it was there he might have gone somewhere else.

Have you spoken with an average 18 year old lately? Yes, someone could be that stupid.

There's a name from the past.  Didn't UT play Minnesota in the Liberty Bowl when Foggie was at Minnesota?
