I will be leaving the office at 11:30 today to begin the Christmas holidays. There will be no feats of strength or airing of grievances. Maybe.

Merry Christmas!

Thank you. That is all. Carry on.

Isn't it nice to have an extra $360K to spend this year?

That lump of cash is still there. They haven't figured it out yet. Too bad I can't earn interest on it.

We cranked it up last night.  Turned winter on us overnight.

1LTB3 (will be CPT B3 on January 1) will be here from Saturday until next Thursday.  If you get a chance, come by and say hello.  I am putting a 17 pound brisket in the smoker later today.  Just follow the wonderful aroma of a combination of hickory and apple smoke.

Merry Christmas to you and yours, Droner.  Been off since Wednesday and only have to work Wednesday next week.  I have a meeting with a client I am working hard to please to get work next year.

Work has been slow so I am only working 24 hours a week. If I can provide the client with what he needs to get funding for his project, that means work for me and a group of engineers and designers. Then we will be working 45-50 hours a week. I am so ready to retire.  Say, I heard you had so extra cash stashed away.

Uh, actually it is a beef brisket.  The pork shoulder will go in the smoker probably on Christmas day.
