I didn't scout them at all until just minutes prior to the game. Average and underachieving offense last year + lost leading WR and breaking in new QB = win.
Love that our D only gave up a single TD, but can't read too much into it. Would have been bad if we gave up 28, holding them to 7 just means next week will tell us more about how improved the D is.
What I definitely love is that this isn't one of those games that happened all too often the last 10-12 years, and even in the last few years of Fulmer, where we face an overwhelmed mid major at home and go into the 4th quarter up 23-17 after looking listless and uninspired.
At the risk of jinxing us, those days at least seem to be behind us. Which is something i guess.
